No. A trip in AmigoBill holds the whole thing: the flight with its departure and arrival times, the hotel with check-in, check-out and a map pin, the activity with the hour it starts, and ordinary expenses like dinner. Each one carries its ticket or confirmation as an attachment. Splitting the cost is one half of it — having everything in one place your group can open is the other.

It depends on what the expense is. Transportation asks for the type, where you're going from and to, and departure and arrival times. A stay asks for the address, a map link, and check-in and check-out. An activity asks for the address and start time. Anything else — dinner, a taxi, a round of drinks — just takes a title, amount, and note. All of them take who paid, who it's split with, and an attachment.

Yes, if you let them. Whoever created the trip decides for each participant: some can only look, some can add their own expenses, some can manage the whole event. Everyone you add opens the same trip from their own account and sees it update as things get logged.

Add an expense, choose who paid, and choose which friends shared it. Splits don't have to be equal, so whoever ordered the expensive bottle can carry more of their share. AmigoBill keeps a running balance per person, and at the end it reduces the whole trip to a short list — who pays whom, and how much.

Boarding passes, hotel confirmations, event tickets, receipts — PDFs, photos from your camera or library, and files from your phone. Whatever you attach stays on that expense, so on the day you need it you open the trip rather than four different apps and an email thread. The app only asks for camera, photo, or file access at the moment you choose to attach something, and only receives the items you pick.

Log every expense in the currency you actually paid in. Your summaries are then displayed in the base currency you choose — USD, EUR, GBP, or AZN — and switching it is a single tap that re-converts everything, with nothing to re-enter.

Yes — creating trips, adding friends, and splitting expenses are all free. We may add optional premium extras later, but the core experience stays free.

All communication with our servers uses HTTPS/TLS, and sensitive data on your device — including your login tokens — is kept in platform-provided encrypted storage (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore). Your expenses and attachments are visible to the participants of that event and to nobody else. We don't sell your data or share it with ad networks.

Not yet. Plans you bookmark are stored on your device, which makes them instant to open and usable offline — but it also means reinstalling the app or switching phones loses them. Server-synced plans are on our list.

AmigoBill is available in English, Spanish, and Azerbaijani, and you can change the language at any time from your profile.

You can deactivate your account from the Profile screen at any time. We delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period afterwards — with one exception: an expense you paid for still has to be reflected in your friends' balances, so shared records stay consistent for the people you travelled with.
